About Us
Kenneth and Ruth Gardner founded the Gardner-Whitworth Insurance Group in 1946. In 1982, son-in-law William O. "Bill" Whitworth purchased the agency. His son, Douglas N. "Doug" Whitworth became the third generation owner in 2005. In 2019 Tyler Whitworth joined the staff as the fourth generation in the agency.
We are an active member of the following insurance industry trade associations:
